Autumn Term Dates –Starting the week of the 1st of October until the 18th of December 2024 (No lesson will be held on Friday 13th December 2024).

The Guppies class aims to continue to build up swimmers’ confidence and skills in the water, being the perfect class for beginners. All coaches are experienced and are geared to ensure that safety and comfort for the swimmers is a top priority. The Guppies class focuses on the following basic aspects of swimming:
– Further develop important skills such as buoyancy, streamlining and underwater breathing;
– Develop more advanced skills and finer details in kicking techniques in all four strokes;
– Start to introduce swimming styles such as Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly.
Therefore, if your child has mastered the very basics of swimming and would like to develop their skills further, the Guppies class is the perfect class for them to continue to improve on basic swimming techniques. All coaches focus on ensuring that all swimmers feel as safe as possible in the water, fostering a safe, fun and encouraging environment.Â
Equipment – Swimmers are to attend all lessons wearing their swimsuit and warm bathrobe, wearing appropriate footwear (water-safe shoes), along with their goggles and swim cap. Note that bikinis are not permitted.
Lesson Times –Â Swimmers are to arrive for their lessons 5 to 10 minutes before the start time. This allows us to gather the group and promptly begin our activities. At the end of each lesson, our coaches will escort the group back to the reception area. We kindly ask parents to be punctual when picking up their children, as our coaches have subsequent lessons to attend.
Replacement Lessons –Â No replacement lessons will be given unless a valid reason is provided, which reason must be communicated with the coach immediately and shall be at the club’s discretion whether to provide a replacement lesson or not. It is of great importance that due to the ‘student to coach ratio’ you stick to the lessons for which you have registered. Kindly note that all fees paid are non-refundable.
Weather –Â Lessons will ONLY be cancelled if there is a storm, thunder, or lightning. Rain is not an issue, and lessons will still be held. The cancellation of lessons shall be communicated by the coaches before the start of the session.Â
Price – €1x per week €150    2x per week €200 – This class shall be limited to 7 swimmers per Group.Â
