Having opened its doors in 1943, Naxxar Lions FC Clubhouse was a staple of Naxxar Square with locals making their way there daily to catch up on the latest news and have a bite to eat and drink. However, unfortunately, on the 30th January 2022, the clubhouse was forced to close its doors for the last time following an order issued by the Court in December 2021.

This now means that the club has lost its main source of income, the rent that was being received from the clubhouse, and is now facing financial difficulties. As a result, the club is reaching out to the community in order to seek the required funding to keep the club moving and growing.
